Well, what can I say... Its been a while, mainly due to everyday life and the usual slacking.
We at ICE would like to welcome you back and we have a brand new review of a PSU, heatsink & fan combo which will be posted up when our hosts have sorted out the server.
In the mean time I HIGHLY recommend you visit our newly revamped forum. We are still working on a new skin but please do register, post and go up against the best in our arcade where you can play Snake, KickUps and Helicopter. I've wasted hours in there already, its great!
If your up for it the IRC chat is also back online on quakenet in #icehw
Go, go go...

Aurora 350 PSU By Blueice
|
Posted At 02:37 On 11/09/2003

Our latest review looks at a brand new PSU with some amazing features, including
blue LEDs!

"The Aurora 350 is an excellent piece of kit, it's innovative
in it's design and exhibits itself wonderfully through the honeycomb style
mesh backlight by the 120mm blue led fan. The weight of the unit makes it feel
very well built indeed. The 120mm fan is very quiet, almost silent, on the
lowest speed setting which is great if your not keen on noisy PC components."

Noritake 800 VFD Mounting! By Blueice
|
Posted At 19:56 On 30/06/2003
|
Check out the latest article from ICE, I have a look at mounting the Noritake
800 VFD in a Lian-Li case...

"There are a few possibilities when it comes to mounting
a display such as this, it could either be mounted in an external box or internally
in the computer case. A box mounting is much more flexible in that you can position
it where ever you like on your desk but in my opinion a case mounting looks
far better and that’s what I'll be covering in this article." |

eDimensional 3d Glasses By Blueice

We have just posted another review - This one is very interesting, a pair of
glasses that claim to bring the true 3d experience to your desktop. See what
I thought here!

"eDimensional
offered me the opportunity to review a pair of their glasses but these aren’t
your standard glasses, they are 3d glasses! They claim to transform your PC
into a virtual reality experience by using stereoscopic technology." |

Eh, a review from Chrix?! By Blueice

Fresh in, a review of the AudiaX Wireless Audio Portable FM Linker (phew) Put
more simply an FM broadcaster - Very cool indeed

"You could use your portable CD player on it and tune into it in the car, so you could have the music from the CD player coming out the speakers in the car. I carried on with it on the front seat of my car, but then I got my mates in their car to drive behind me and to tune the device into their headunit, and sure enough it still worked, as clear as crystal. The following car could get quite a distance behind before the signal losing any quality."
Beleive me, if we had a rating system here at ICE this one would be very high up on the list |

Back after some downtime! By Blueice

Unfortunately our hosts needed to format our main sever; consequently we have been moved to a new server. We have however, managed to restored a full backup of the site. Please don't hesitate to report any server errors or dead images you find to one of the team or post in the forums. We apologise for any down time caused, all problems should be ironed out over the coming days.
Thanks for listening! |

USB Matrix Orbital MX212 Kit! By Blueice
|
Posted At 20:15 On 06/04/2003
|
At long last we have some more juicy content for you to sniff over, please
feel free to do so. It comes in the form of a review by Chrix of the latest
USB Matrix Orbital display.

"It's been a while since we last reviewed an LCD offering from Matrix
Orbital, oh how things have change since then. Gone are the days where you had
to mess around with power connectors and serial cables to get your LCD up and
running, now it's just a single cable for both the power and data, a USB cable!"
I must say I took a look over this display and was very impressed with both
its looks and features. Check the review out here!
